*In graffiti, "buff" refers to the removal or covering of existing graffiti, typically by cleaning or painting over it. The process is often carried out by authorities or property owners to eradicate unauthorized markings, leading to a clean or "BUFFED" surface.

Ten months down the rabbit hole. That’s how long we’ve been chasing this hoodie. Sounds simple enough, make a good fuckin’ hoodie. But nothing’s ever that simple. It’s been a trip. Ten months of ripping apart vintage hoodies, swearing at fabric swatches and more than a few lessons in how the clothing manufacturing works. The mission was simple: build a hoodie that actually deserves to be worn and worn a lot.

The blueprint was clear. Go back to the source. Dig out those greatest hits. Our all time faves. Early 90’s Champion, style ever so prominent on the cover of Wu Tang’s 36 Chambers. Another silhouette we love, with its’ roomy upper torso with boxy yet slightly cropped fit, is early 90’s Soffe.

The result? Slightly oversize cut, paying homage to those 90’s icons. The fit. How we think hoodies should fit. Constructed out of 470gsm heavyweight organic cotton. No plastic. No polyester. Stuff that actually breathes, breaks in, and gets better the more you wear it. Something that will age like a Bordeaux, not a Big Mac.

As we think this is truly a fuckin’ nice hoodie we thought that in the beginning it should have the centerstage. No logos. No outside branding. Buffed. Just a fuckin’ great hoods.
