We got a new brand in store, and not just any brand but Manready Mercantile from Houston Texas. For a bit over six years, we've made sure that you look good, but with this new addition to our roster, we can also quarantee that you and your crib smells good. Yeah, we got you some Eau de Parfumes and incenses. Now you may wonder what the fuck is Manredy, so here goes a small background check on the subject.
From Wax to a store with a soul

Back in 2012, dude called Travis Weaver, a small-town guy from Zephyr, Texas, started pouring candles in his apartment. Not just any candles, but ones that had charcter. He wasn’t aiming to start a retail, he just wanted to make something honest, something useful.
Fast-forward to 2014, and those candles sparked Manready Mercantile, a premium general goods store planted in Houston’s historic Heights district. The shop is a curated arsenal of quality: leather goods, rugged apparel, apothecary items and vintage home décor. Each product tells a story, each shelf a testament to craftsmanship. Weaver’s ethos is clear: stock only what you’d use yourself, and make sure it lasts. An ethos that we could truly relate to.
Bottled in Houston
How about them fragrances then? Manready doesn’t outsource the soul of its scents. The perfumes are designed, blended, and bottled in-house, right above the flagship store in Houston, Texas. No anonymous factory, no white-label deals. Just a small team mixing oils by hand, batch by batch.
They source their raw materials with intention. Oils are custom-blended from scratch. Bottles come from France. The pad-printed labels use German ink, baked on at high heat so it won’t scratch off in a backpack or glovebox. Nothing is made to be precious. It’s made to be used.
The packaging is simple, matte black, minimal and sturdy. No gloss. No fluff. Just a vessel for scent that actually says something.
Every step is about control, not compromise. The result is fragrance with backbone. Something you wear, not something that wears you.
The selection
We picked up three different scents: Lore, Anvil and Slate. And those three are all available in three mediums: Eau de Parfum, solid cologne and insences.
Manready's solid colognes are crafted for individuals who value quality and convenience.
Design and Packaging
Each solid cologne is housed in a custom-tooled, gunmetal vessel that swivels open to reveal the fragrance. This design ensures durability and portability, making it ideal for travel or daily use. The cologne is poured into a removable insert, allowing you to replace it with a new refill once depleted, reflecting an eco-friendly and cost-effective approach to smelling good.
Application and Ingredients
To apply, simply rub the cologne with your finger or use the back of a fingernail to scoop a small amount, then apply to pulse points as desired. The formulation includes beeswax, petroleum jelly, jojoba oil, shea butter, mineral oil, and fragrance oil, ensuring a smooth application and long-lasting scent.
